your task
For this course, you will use Photoshop a lot in lessons and it would be really useful if you had a copy at home. you can download a free trial here - check with your parents before installing anything though. Alternatively, you can log into Frog and then click 'Medhurst' and log in with your normal details, then you can access the school version of Photoshop from home for free.
For this task you have 2 options. You can choose to do either one, or both:
OPTION 1: RESEARCH (if you don't have/cant get photoshop)
Present 3 slides on your PowerPoint that answer the question 'What are the possibilities with photo editing software such as Photoshop?'
- Give examples
- Include pictures
OPTION 2: EXPERIMENT (if you have Photoshop)
Choose any photograph that you have taken and experiment with the different buttons, functions and settings to find out the different ways that you can edit on photoshop. Copy and paste your original photo onto a slide on your powerpoint then add your edited experiments next to it to show the difference.
to get you started you might want to try:
- Filters
- brightness and contrast
- curves
- levels
- hue and saturation
- liquefy
