For your new project you will be given more choice for your project. You will be given last year's exam paper and asked to select a starting point. You will then develop your project independently, choosing your own artists, subject matter and experiments. Remember - coursework is a large portion of your grade - 60%.
You will be working on this project until Christmas so make sure it is a project that is going to fully engage you!
After Christmas you will receive your real exam paper (40% of your grade) - so this will be a really good practice for you.

Finding artists to inspire you
Use the websites below to help you find artists to inspire your ideas.
You need to find pictures of their work (choose ones you like!)
You then need to analyse their work in a paragraph. use the following questions to help you, and if you want some key words or sentence starters click here for more help.

- What is their work about and how is it created?
- Analyse their use of colour, materials, subject matter etc.
- Give your opinion of the work. Positive – or don’t use this artist!
- Link to your ideas – how will this artist inspire you?
