Open Photoshop through the start menu - it will be in the Adobe folder.
Next open your favourite photo - go to:
Student shared/ Art / Miss Wilson / Year 10 / Portrait photos

Task 2
Create a colour splash image using one of your other pictures. Possibly one with a prop. Look at the layers box... drag the background layer onto the 'new layer' button which looks like a page being turned Click on the background copy and make your picture black and white by going to Image, adjustments, DESATURATE.
Select the eraser tool on the left tool bar, and rub out the bits of the picture that you want to be in colour. eg. the eyes, lips, hat etc. If you also want to change the colours of your picture, click the background layer, then go to Image, adjustments, hue and saturation. Move the bars around and watch your picture change colour. Print screen and paste onto a word document. Crop the edges. |
