Task 1 : MindmapCreate a mind map based on your identity. Fill an A4 page, keep it neat and use colour.

Task 3: Photography
Take a range of photographs of yourself using the rotation below and photos for ideas. When finished, save them to your area and edit them by using the photoshop button below for instructions. Print in colour - 1/4 - 1/2 a page per photo. You will draw from these photos so take time to get some good ones!
Task 4: drawing
Using your own photographs:
Print your photographs - small for your board, and print your favourite 3 to fill an A4 page so that you can draw from them. You need to produce at least 3 A4 drawings of yourself. Do at least 2 in pencil, and maybe one in pen. To do this, use graphite on the back of your photos and trace the main features into your new book. ONLY USE ONE SIDE OF THE PAPER AS WE WILL CUT YOUR BOOK UP AT THE END!! You must use shading to get a C or above. Watch the youtube videos to help you. |

task 2: artist research
Select two artists to research which will inspire your experiments. make sure that you choose artists that are suitable for your ability - the right level of challenge, not too easy/too hard. You will be doing a copy of each artist's style and then applying it to your earlier drawings, so choose carefully.

-Paste your two/three photos medium size -Write up any key information in your own words. Do not copy and paste. -Describe the art work in your own words as a paragraph. How do you think the artist has created it? What do you like about it ? Explain your answer. How have they used colour? How have they represented your subject (eg. people)? What ideas could you take for your own piece of work? What would you do differently? |
